A Day in Provence

Have you ever visited Provence, France? If not, we have you covered! Join us on June 22nd at the Lodge on Lake Lure’s Treetops Restaurant for a special five course meal prepared by our fantastic Chef Philippe. A different Rose Wine will be paired with each course.

Reservations are required, and can be made by calling 828-625-2789. The meal will be $60 (plus tax) per person, which includes the wine pairings.

As always, Chef Philippe uses only local produce to create a farm to table atmosphere!

1st Course: 

Fluer de Courgette farcie aux chévre et Herbs

Fried Zucchini Blossom stuffed with goat cheese and herbs served with a roasted tomato coulis

2nd Course: 

Bouillabaisse Provencal

Provencal Fish Stew with Mussels, Shrimp, Snapper, and Scallops infused with Saffron and Fennel served with Rouille Crostinin

3rd Course: 

Lavender Sorbet

4th Course: 

Roti de boeuf Provencal

Roasted Tender Shoulder or Beef with Tomatoes and Mushrooms Ragout served with Ratatouille and Roasted Herb Garlic Potatoes

5th Course:

Gratin aux pêches et Abricot

Peach and Apricot Au Gratin
